Our summer workshops represent a commitment and an ongoing effort to provide education, outreach and professional development to teachers and professionals interested in learning and developing innovative and impactful approaches in teaching. The summer workshops are open to teachers and professionals and provide a variety of topic areas that integrate exercise science, health, wellness and disease prevention into physical education.
Workshop speakers and presenters provide the latest and most up to date approaches in teaching, technology and best practices. Workshops provide the latest in technology and research related to physical activity, human movement and physical education. Experience heart rate monitoring systems, activity trackers, wearable devices, fitness tracking software, as well as other state of the art lab and field based applications in human movement. This two-day workshop will provide professional development opportunities to teachers and professionals interested in learning and developing innovative and impactful approaches to strengthen and expand their PE program.
